Breeding is one of the most important aspects of the game. It is important you first look at the Genome page in order to understand the basics of how genome works in Blockchain Cuties.

When breeding cuties, player has to choose one cutie as the "father" and the other one as the "mother". It doesn't matter in which order these cuties are picked and also it doesn't matter who is the father and who is the mother.

Breeding Fee

In order to breed with another cutie, the player must pay a small breeding fee which gets slightly higher with every next breeding cooldown.

Across the generations this fee stays constant, although later generations cuties breeding price increase is decreased. This means that later generations are cheaper to breed.
ETH breeding fee
Breeding formula fee is:

Ethereum: 1 finney + 3 szabo*N*N;

TRON: 10 trx + (27000 sun)*N*N;
TRX breeding fee

EOS: max(memFee, 0.065) + N*N*0.00015;

where N = |momCooldown + dadCooldown - momGen - dadGen|;

memFee is 650 bytes cost when allocating new memory for cutie. Current EOS RAM: https://eos.feexplorer.io/. 650 bytes cost is around 0,03 EOS.

Science of Breeding

Lets look at breeding more closely. Lets take two animals of the same type and check how genes of parents move to their kids (basically everything works the same for cross-type breeds as well).
